I used to be a "regular" on the 8notes flute forum, but hardly come back anymore because of the lack of focus on actual help for flutists. I will post a response or, rarely, a question.

I accept alternate viewpoints on my comments or posts, but I do not appreciate being attacked, harrassed, or told I am incorrect because of my morales, ect... because that is not up to a stranger on a forum to decide.

I play a DC Pro III and will not hesitate to say that most of why I left the forums was because of the insanity around the debate on whether or not this is a "reputable" flute. Those who insult others because their flute isn';t a famous brand or a well known model need a better hobby and I will not give them fuel to their fire. I';m perfectly happy with my flute, it has been the most reliable and sturdy of any flute I';ve ever owned or performed on, and say that it doesn';t matter what you play on as long as you love playing.

I';m a music major at a respectable music conservatory, so I actually do know what I';m talking about. Best of luck to everyone plodding their way through the slush of the forums: may you find the help you seek and, if not, go ask your local music major.
