I`m a Viola Player. No Joke! Started playing when I was 7 yrs old and played up through my Senior year of High School. I then took a 20 year vacation when I went off to college, got married, and raised a daughter.

I started playing again when I got a call from my brother, who plays the cello, to join a small orchestra that plays for retirement/nursing homes around the Twin Cities. I quickly returned to the level of playing where I left off in High School and have continued to play with this group for 12 years now.


Most of our group consists of working adults, sometimes a high school student or two, and a few retired musicians. We usually play one night a week from September through May. This summer a few of us decided to continue our weekly get together. As a result, I have been working on some solo pieces and duets with one of the violinists. I love playing and will continue to play as long as my fingers let me.

I love to ski (downhill), and I am trying out snowboarding too.
I got my motorcycle licence last year and love to ride when I can.
I enjoy reading, watching movies, going to see stand-up comedians, plays, and of course music concerts.
