I`ve lived in 5 countries and somehow I got stuck in Belgium, which has by far the worst weather of all of them. At least the Hagelandse Academy for Music is across the street from where I live

I had studied towards being a music teacher until I was 22 and then I got burnt out between rehearsals and full time work.

I studied clarinet with Nino Morreale (frozen in time in the film the Godfather). He`s an angel from heaven. I also studied with Peter Prisco and Turk Van Lake.

Classical Clarinet has always been my first love.
I also play recorder.
I played guitar and sang in a punk rock band back when punk was new.
I took jazz voice lessons until I threw my voice out by shouting in the punk rock band :-).
I used to study piano as well, but never had any really talent for it.
