Profile
I repair flutes as a hobby. I used to play flute and clarinet with private teachers when I was a teen, right up until university were I was told I have zero talent. 25 years later, I discovered the joy of giving life to old beaten up instruments and thus made peace with that humiliating part of my life. I may have zero musical talent, but I am very skilled with my hands and with very precise mechanical work. I can repad (using paper washer, I dont bend keys), recork, polish, adjust, dedent, and touch-up the plating. I haven`t learned yet how to take pins out or change springs. I sell my flutes on my website www.kangimusic.com were I am honest about who i am and always recommend a visit to a local tech in case I doubt of the quality of the instrument.
