I never had any piano lessons; I was self-taught. I have been playing the piano for 9 years now and I feel very confident that I can write my own pieces. I am inspired by my moods, (I`m bipolar), poetry by Sylvia Plath, beautiful and gothic pictures, cold autumn days, Evanescence and other musicians, and my past. My pieces are usually coated with a dark overtone; I just like minor chords and melancholy melodies. I`m a melancholy person sometimes and the dark appeals to me more than the light.
