Lyreplayer
Hello all
I play a modern lyre, it is something like a small harp which sits on my lap. It is played by pushing on the strings and not plucking like a harp. I have several, but my favourite is my small soprano because it is easy to carry around. I have a large soprano which sounds wonderful, and an alto which is being mended.
I did have piano lessons as a child but now just play my lyre.
Are there any more lyre players out there? Do get in touch if there are.
I do like classical music but play a lot of traditional as well. Oh! and I have several friends who play with me. One day we would like our little group to be an orchestra.
