Besides being a mum to two daughters I am a modern day witch and believe in healing, being in tune with the cycles of nature and in intuition.

I love playing my flute and learning about music. I sometimes play the recorder but usually only when my flute goes in for a service! I play the guitar a little. My flute is only a Buffet Crampon student flute but I get on well with it and won't upgrade until I get much further on with my playing.

I have a favourite band called Runrig who are originally from Scotland but play gigs in Europe and the rest of Britain and have a cult following, many fans have been loyal for 30 years. They do not have a flautist in the band though! I have long been an admirer of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull too, I grew up with their music.
