Picked up oboe in 7th grade after a year of begging my parents. :p Like all oboists, I was attracted to the sound of the instrument.

Before oboe I had played flute since 4th grade and sung in chorus since 2nd grade. Recorder came in 3rd grade, and I just kind of continued to add instruments since then. :)

My latest addition would be the English Horn, and I am loving it!!! :D

Out of all of my instruments though, the oboe is still the love of my life.

When I`m not practicing or making reeds...ballet, martial arts, pretending I can still sing, and 70`s and 80`s rock.
