Hello! I'm currently a senior in high school and I love music (although it might be redundant to say so on a music website...). I play the piano for my school's jazz band, play percussion in the pit during marching season, and play the oboe during concert season. Flute was my first woodwind, but I only really play it during small church and community events now. I think it's hard to get a really good tone on flute, but that probably is just because I lack experience.

I am very excited right now because I recently made honor band on oboe and All State on percussion!

Hmmm... Interests... Well, currently, I am interested in oboe reeds and how to adjust them. I`m learning, but it`s a slow, painful, and sometimes expensive (when I ruin the reed...) process because I don`t have an oboe teacher... and I may have just lost my percussion instructor to the financial and insurance business. I guess that makes another interest of mine finding a new private teacher, preferably one that plays oboe and percussion... ... Waah, why`d you have to quit on me? WHY?!
