Hey! It's good to here from you and thank you for the kind regards! I hope all is going well for you, too. Yes!!! Just a few more weeks (I think actually ten days for us...) and then I'm free to compose at my leisure! I've been changing my profile up quite a bit... I just hope it's not too shocking! Seriously, I have found some more 'up to speed' music that I can connect with and actually listen to without questioning myself, and I have found that through Lifehouse.

I dont think I ever posted a comment on your page, how rude of me lol. But its really nice of you to just stop by and say hi. If I didnt play violin I would of probably learned sax. I also like music from movies, such as,"The Color Purple" and "Casa Blanca". A popular one is the theme from "Schindler's List" well its popular in the violin world lol. I also like read when ever I have the chance.

Yeah... I decided that some of my work should go, and I got rid of the comments because of loading time. It's good to hear from you ! I hope things are going well. I have recently become absorbed by Phantom of the Opera, and our band room just got a new Clavinova digital keyboard!!! Naturally, I'm assigned to figure it out.

I got your message from a while ago, but I can't seem to open the files . I don't know why, though... Other than that, things are good... For music theory I had to transpose an alto sax part for tenor sax for both Peter and the Wolf and Aladdin selections - What fun !!! Hope things are going well for you !

I'm here ! I did look through all of them, and I think that we actually did play When the Stars Began to Fall for all-star band... I really enjoyed that one. A few others I could recommend right now would be Northwest Rising, POTC, and In All Its Glory (the time signature changes look fun!). I will admit that I'm a poor judge of music just by looking at it, so I won't venture to make any more suggestions. It's good to hear from you again!

Hey ! Things are better with the videos and soundclips . Yes, spring break is here, and my family has started some 'spring cleaning' - more like spring feng shui... 'My' piano room has been re-arranged for the better. I like the new theme, if I haven't already said so. Hope things are going well. I have been in limbo with everything music except a few bits and pieces. I find it is always refreshing or exciting in a way to have a child open new windows for music...

What happened was that I had to carry my tenor sax, bassoon, and alto recorder around with me, plus my music, and all while wearing my concert tux... Not fun! I just felt so exhausted at the end ... Anyway, that's pretty much it...

Hey ! Hope things are going well for you... Solo and ensemble is this Saturday, and I'm pretty, well... Not excited. My bassoon solo - the one piece I was going to perfect - is no where near good enough, and I am regretting not having an accompanist ... Oh well... I'm working on writing a fantasy-concerto for piano and winds for our band to perform maybe in May. I'm still sticking with a minimalist approach though. Well, hope all is well with you!

Sorry to hear about your troubles . Don't worry about getting the rest of the story to me - you have priorities to worry about now. I'm feeling a bit of tension right now too. Solo and ensemble is in two weeks, and I still have to play through some of my music that I've looked over maybe twice at the most. Some of our trios and other groups aren't getting along too well, either, so I'm apprehensive about a conscious group effort to make it to state (?).

Thanks for putting up the clip ! I really enjoyed what I heard... very 'rustic' sounding... I understand you not being able to get on much - the new semester is different for me too, but I only have four real classes, two of which I can safely say that I rarely get homework in... Along with two independent music theory classes and a convenient study hall, it's perfect! I'm mostly caught up with solo/ensemble and The Sound of Music practice... And still trying to find time to write some music. Hopefully, I will be able to write a piece for our concert in March, or take the time to look for Philip Glass's music from The Hours.
