its going great! thanks for asking! but i still need to get used to the whole tonguing thing: that sounds really wierd for a previous string player! and my lips get numb after playing. but im moving quite quickly through the beginner's book, and my teacher has given me some stage band, 2nd t-bone to practise over the holidays.
