Thanks for commenting on the flute piece of mine. I think you can tell it was put together with the hopes of actually getting it done (the droning bass line in the piano) and the lack of a change of modes. I only researched the pentatonic scale briefly, but sometimes my compositions work in things like that without my knowledge! As for the influence of Debussy, I think I may have based this off a prelude early on in it's creation (I've been working on and off with this for months).
