Lol, whats worse for me is that..im the only guy playing the flute in both bands that im in (not that im in yr.7)..and i feel weird about it, but then again, theres one yr 9 guy who also plays the flute!...in the other bands..
and im also weirded out because im thinking about getting cheap guitar lessons in the phils. when im there in a few months 4 a holiday, but idk wether i can or not...i feel sorry for that unused a' guitar, lol.

Welcome to the board. Don't let all the mumble jumble flute terminology scare you off, you have plenty of years to learn all that. Just focus on the basics and have fun with playing the flute and your youth. It goes by so fast! I have a niece that is your age that is just starting off on the flute this year, she is like a mini me, so I am thinking that she is really going to take to it like I did.
