Hi I'm a sophomore flutist...how's junior year going for you?

Strangely enough, I am trying to pick up a soprano flute (keyed in Eb) at the moment. But I never had a true intermediate flute. I sort of jumped from student to low professional....But that low professional was a Yamaha 581 (it's about 15 or 20 years old now, so the specs match with a modern 674). Those AP classes are killers for all the summer HW they give you, but well worth it in the end....I get to bypass 5 classes (that's almost a semesters worth of stuff) because of AP and ACT scores.

I sure do remember....Who are we supposed to check in with? ::evil grin:: Everythings great from this end...I leave for CO on the 17th, so in 2 weeks, I guess. How about you? Whatcha been up to? Oh, and I heard something that might interest you.....You know your Aprenti? Well I read that they were not actually products of Jupiter/Altus. A woman said she had talked to the company about it, and they told her that many people believed that they were associated with Altus, but in fact they were made one at a time by a man in northern California. I don't know how true that might be (I haven't done the research yet), but it's an interesting little rumor.
