right now i'm at the point where i'm doing the lip trill to the point where i'm barely shaking my trumpet. i know the famous way of teaching the lip trill is doing ah-ee-ahh-ee at whole notes, than half notes, than quater notes, eighth,16th, etc but i never really understood the technique. everytime i try it it sounds like a choking elephant.
