I am a teacher by trade. I have ten years experience as a middle school English teacher.

My husband let me take the year off ( an unpaid sabbatical!) to get married and read ( I hope to finish "Deathly Hallows" and then I am done with Harry Potter!), play flute, practice chinese brush art, and travel across the country. Playing flute in high school, I continued playing in the college pep band. Nowadays, I mostly play for my own enjoyment. I also was in school plays, choir, marching band and jazz band when in grade school. At UC Irvine, I participated all four years in women`s choir under "Rick".

I love broadway plays like Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, and Wicked.

As for modern music I enjoy Morrissey, David Bowie, the Beatles, Belle and Sebastian, the Strokes. The country part of me likes the Dixie Chicks, Rilo Kiley, Carrie Underwood, Lee Ann Womack, and Linda Ronstat.

I live with my husband and poodle "Bigfoot" and shih tzu "Princess".

We hope to make the move from Los Angeles to Austin for a short stay or maybe to live forever!
