I`m a retired, aging, gentleman, of sorts, with 2 lovely adult children, taking on the challenge of learning to play the piano. Always a desire of mine, but a good share of life went by so fast, I didn`t seem to have time to develop the determination.
I couldn`t sleep well during the night, so I got up and began browsing on my MAC for any info. or tricks, I might find about the piano. Not sure exactly how I came across this sight, but what a find!!! Looking forward to sharing it with you all and my friends in the USA.
For the last while, I`ve been slowly accepting that I am aging a bit, but I was thinking that was just around here. After I became a member of 8notes, this morning, I took some pleasure in realizing; I`m a senior member of an international community. How about that!
Here`s hoping that this will be as much fun for all of us as it seems it will be.

Helping others, who have found themselves on their heals because of some sort of addiction. My family, which consists of a lovely 24 year old daughter, who teaches middle school to, what you might call, the less fortunate. A 21 year old strapping son, who is about to enter a fine Culinary School in Michigan. And last, but not least, my beautiful and exasperating XX-wife. (That`s kind of a requirement in the states.) Golf and driving fast are 2 other of my interests. Unfortunately, I`m better at one of those than the other.
