Hello, my online name is Pinto Storm. I am a floutist, at aprox. a 2-and-a-half level in Royal Conservatory, so I`ve been told (got quite a way to go, but I`m working on it).
I know a LITTLE piano, and I love writing my own music. My favorite classical composer I can never decide, and my favorite pop artist is Adam Young (if you play flute, try playing Adam`s "If My Heart was a House," it sounds REALLY nice!). I`m currently working on a solo, "Colors Of The Wind" by Disney (yeah, I know it`s really easy, but I love it XD)
The Pinto in my name came from the name of my favorite kind of horse, which caught on as a nickname from my friends from back in middle school (ahhh... the good old days) and before, the second part was "Wind" (because of my unreasonable obsession with wind, air, and flying). Well that came out as "Pinto Wind." Translated by some: "Horse fart." Hmmm... doesn`t sound too appealing as a name in my opinion.
So I changed it to Pinto Storm.
I made my avatar myself and it`s actually a picture of my flute, which I drew on my computer and added a bit of pizzazz to it :P
I`m new to the site as you can tell, so I`m no expert. I`m not here to make new friends to be honest, but if you have a question about music that I might be able to answer feel free to ask on COMMENTS. Have a great day :)
