Maroon 5 - Sunday Morning - Free Sheet Music Riff
In Sunday Morning Maroon 5 have built an entire song out of a 3 chord progression. It just repeats and repeats
throughout the piece and is the same in the verse and the chorus.
The chord pattern is II - V - I in C major. But each of those chords has added notes.
In the intro and the verse it's:
Dm9 G9 Cmaj7
For the chorus we add an extra note to the Dm making it
Dm11 G9 Cmaj7
We also add a bit more bass.
