The Artist:	Popular Romantic composer of 6 symphones and some of the world' most performed ballets including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.

Composition Date:	1890
Composition Info:	The ballet for Sleeping Beauty is Tchaikovsky's Opus 66 . With choreography by Marius Petipa, it was premiered in the Saint Petersburg Maryinsky Theatre on January 24, 1890. It marked the first major success for Tchaikovsky after the only lukewarm reception to his ballet Swan Lake a decade earlier.
