Inspirations for arrangements come from many directions and this was a very unusual one. A very nice reader sent a kind response to one of my posts on our sister site thetrumpetblog.com and because of his kind words, I decided to write an arrangement of his national anthem which was from Australia.
The National Anthem of Australia is very short and for that reason I added an introduction which was also used as a counter melody and an extended ending was also added.
To our kind reader, thank you and I hope this can be used in your next concert.
To the rest of you, I make the same wish and due to the fact that it is offered free, download it and keep it around just in case four trumpet players show up at your door and want to play some National Anthems.
