I find it hard to do everything in so little time; Anyways I’m Megumi Yamamoto, that`s my pen name by the way. I`m 12 years old, I enjoy music my favorite genres are pop, classical, and techno. I`m in training for honors orchestra after failing the entry test for honors math I won’t lose to this test! I don`t take private lessons but lessons at school with a group of people. I go 3 times a week. I think private lessons are a waste of time since I don`t like people telling me how to play music. I learn in my own style, my orchestra teacher allows this; she says it`s a good way to express your technique. I`m quite disappointed they banned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chair at my school because people were crying for not getting the position. Though I think it`s a great way to learn, when I hear someone better than me that makes me want to get better too, but that`s not the same for everyone. At school I’m quiet though defiantly not shy, it`s just why talk to someone who didn`t want to talk to you? Wouldn`t you just be a bother? Though I’ve been thinking about that lately, how the heck do you make friends if you don`t? But for now I’ll be a background person and a follower. I`m not particularly close to anyone, more likely there just people you know and don’t mind talking to you to past time. I wish to someday be a leader of my own group of friends or an equal, though I know that will never happen since everyone on is different in one way or another. I love sports though I’m more of a runner. I can’t play football, baseball, softball, hockey, cricket, or any other similar sport. I enjoy soccer and track. I’m short, 5’ 0” though I’m still growing… I hope. I love drawing; my profile picture was done on a digital sketch tablet. My dream is to build a school someday dedicated to music if not I want to do a job that’s honest and helps people most likely a doctor. I also want my own island someday on the new “The World” island thing there building right next to the man made palm tree island in Dubai, preferably I want Antarctica, it’s scorching in 80 degree heat. When I think about it rich people build these islands and buildings for fun. Also I’m starting to think the world will end in 2012, bad economy in the United States, Massive earthquake in Japan that shifted the axis, Japan moved closer to China… OMG it’s the start of Pangaea (one big continent)! Now for the real question, do you like Justin Bieber? I LOVE HIM! JK. Well I have nothing against him, so why should I hate him, though to be honest the first time I watched his music video me and my friend was like “ Is the person in the purple jacket a guy or a girl?” But I really think it’s inspiring that he came from YouTube and is one of the biggest stars today.

Reason why i play what i play:

Viola: I like the rich sound it makes, unlike the violin. This is my main insturment.

Violin: I like i high, light sounds it makes.

Piano: A all around insturment but i`m not much of a multitasker to play with my left and right hand.

Guitar: My idol Sungha Jung is my insperation.

Voice: Easiest thing, i can play anytime, anywhere. My idol is Clara.

Recorder: Part of my 3rd and 4th grade curriculum.

Cello: My pride and joy, but is not my main insturment. I love the deep mellow sound it creates.

Playing music, that makes people smile, it makes me happy to see they enjoy it. Curling up in a comfortable chair and reading a book on a cold or rainy day.
