Hey, I just watched the movie not too lng ago and was wondering if somebody could send and scores/sheet music to me
I`m in high school right now and would like to play it with my schools string quartet/full orchestra

It was the prelude to the first suite in D for solo cello by J. S. Bach. Does anyone know if there is sheet music of the song that is in the final scene of the movie?

It took me a while to figure out the songs in that movie. The last song played was the string quintet of Boccherini called La Musica Notturna delle strade di Madrid or something. I think it is the seciond or third movenment. Strangely, the quintet is played by a duo, so they drop the harmonies and just play the melody. BTW, russel crowe did an excellent mimic of a violinist.

Scatch that. It is the 4th movement. Sheet music for that quintet is impossible to download off of a site for free, so you must buy it if you really want it.

Look I know you`re all string players but im on a mad hunt for boccherini`s la musica notturna delle strade di madrid no6 op30 for CLARINET. thats what i play and it was my fave song from before the movie came out. i MUST find it, i have the master and commder soundtrack and am obsessed with finding the FREE sheet music to it will some PLEASE HELP????

ALL IN ALL, THE SONG IS CALLED PRELUDE By J. S. Bach;......just type master and commander in ur music download programme and wait for the Bach version to come up...GOOD STUFF
