I play the flute, obviously, and my F key is really hard to close. You have to push really hard to close the hole and get a good sounding F out. I`ve sent it to the shop before, it works at first, but then it gets harder and harder to press. Any suggestions?

Thanx Becky, but I actualkly fixed it myself. The key was bent so I just got really mad and bent it back and now it`s fixed. Wow, what anger can do for you! lol

I have (had) this same problem. Sometimes you just need to have it checked over, screws tightened, pads checked/replaced, ect. As of right now, my flute is kind of having the same problem, and I`ve just had to press the key harder. Maybe it`s just having an off day, and it`ll get better. My advice: check the screws, and pads, OH sometimes the little wires get bent...okay, just try bringing it to the shop again. Just wondering, is it an Armstrong?
