Well, that was about 20 years ago. The dog isn't doing very well anymore. As a matter of fact the owner, Virginia has passed away as well. These things happen.

One anecdote about this owner. She was a woman who had this growth on her sholder. Some called it a Tumor. She had the option of having it surgically removed but she kept it as she said, "For cosmetic reasons". She died of the results of smoking. She'd keep a few cigarettes lit around the house at any given moment as long as she was awake.

Her husband used to paint houses. He'd get up on a 25 ft ladder against the house with his can and brush and when he'd need to move the ladder to paint a fresh area, he wouldn't climb down from the ladder. He'd kind of hop the ladder a few feet to the side.
BTW: If you think this is a joke and I'm kidding. I'm not. You can't make this kind of stuff up.

oh, your dog is blind? my neigbor had a dog that was blind in one eye. I know a guy that's colorblind!..i never met one before..until this year!
