Thanks guys!
It is Sonata No. 4 in D by Giuseppe Rabboni.
I only played the first page of it though. This was actually the piece that I played that got my foot in the door to the local Symphony.

Very nice Kara! I am working on recording something right now so that you guys may hear me also. What piece should I play an excerpt out of?

The niceties in the recording are more likely attributable to the player and not the flute itself.
The acoustics of that room you recorded in is wonderful. Every room in my house is absolutely dead... well except for that tiled room that make everyone sound fabulous.

Thanks everyone. The acoustics were added, but when I play in the front hallway of my house I pretty much get the same sound. My music room (which you can see on my flick site has wood flooring, so the sound is awesome in there. It always makes me feel better when I play in there.
Micron, thank you..that mean a lot to me coming from you. I try not to over due it on vibrato. I hate when people do that!
See what a little ol Yamaha 221 student flute can do Stephen. Lol! I will have to make a recording next on my Powell and see if anyone can hear the difference. It really isn't a fair judgment though, because it isn't a live and just a computer recording.
