Yeah I think that the flute boards are the best...We're the good people. I've only been on here about a week and I've gotten so much help. It's amazing.

Hello and welcome!!!

I've been around since the beginning of the year, I think.

The great thing about this group is its diversity!
This forum has middle/high school players, college music majors, private teachers, hobbyists/amateurs, professionals, repair techs, adult beginners/relearners etc. You name it, it's here!

Have fun and the only dumb question is the one never asked.

Ann

Voice lessons could definitely help your flute playing. Lots of the breathing and music-related fundamentals are similar. James Galway strongly suggests that every flutist learn to sing, and some of his influences have been singers.

question, on the subject of singing enhancing flute performance...is it true that if you can sing a note in tune that you will be able to play it in tune???
