For our spring concert show this year, our school music program is doing an "international" theme (fairly unoriginal). We don't have any Asian-sounding songs at all. My band director wants me to start an Oriental Ensemble, but I don't believe it will work out due to people and their lack of time/commitment. (I would have to play a percussion piece on the flute in this ensemble).
Does anyone know of any Asian/Oriental sounding pieces (solos or duets) on flute I should look into?
If I can find it for free online, that would be even better. =)
