It's gotten beyond the point of ridiculous. This is a FLUTE forum, therefore the posts should be concerning flutes. All topics about flutes, I might add, such as constuction, history, brands, technique, and music should be welcome. However, the posts need to be flute related. It has been like this for quite some weeks now, where posts are NOT about flutes. Nothing is done, and the battle rages on.
If this is what I wanted to read, I'd go to a soap opera forum. I don't have time to sort through the garbage, or answer true posts without this childish drama creeping in, and let go virtually unchecked. I have better things to do with my time.
I've learned a lot and will miss you guys whom I've gotten to know over the past year or two. Perhaps one day things will be cleaned up, but until then, I won't be around.
this is awesome. some of the most influencial people on this board are so sick of this that theyre leaving. i hope those of you with no conscience realize what you did to anger these very nice people...
It sad, I really like this site, and read about all the interesting topics, and share my stories, and opinions, andthe last few weeks it all changes, but I guess its for the better, I dont blame anyone who leaves. I think we should someone here should make a private forum, that would be perfect, and some people wouldnt know it.
I don't think anyone who has tried to give good advice and been attacked by some of the people here feels that bad. The threats of people leaving are hackneyed and are just another ploy at sympathy.
BTW, sediment is what sinks to the bottom of a liquid.
People who decide to leave are obviously the ones who have better things to do in life, than argue with a computer screen.

Why would any reasonable person continue to subject themselves to harassment and ridicule, especially when they are not benefiting from reading the annoying bicker posts; anyone who seeks ADVICE and DISCUSSION, rather than DRAMA and BICKERING, will likely not find this forum a valuable tool, and continue to seek it elsewhere.
