i play the violin and flute. ive been playing a trevor james tj10x for about 3 and a half years. i think im about grade 6 and would wish to upgrade my flute. i dont plan to play proffessionaly or anthing, just as a hobby. my price range is probably max £1000 and would like a solid silver head joint. any suggestions?

Go to the store and try as many flutes as you can. Then chouse the one thet Feels/Sounds right to you. (We cant tell you wnat to chouse, becouse its diffrent for evrybody.)

armstrong carries several nice step-up flutes. they should be in your price range. good luck =D
