recently I heard a gemeinhadrt Hand made professional flute, that was made during the 1960's-1970's I dont remeber which, but It was one of the best sounding flutes I ever heard?
is it because gemeinhardt was still under its orignal ownership?
I would like to own one, I think older flutes are nicer then some newer ones(not all the news one) juts some

The Flute Center has a used handcrafted model for sale.

http://www.flutes4sale.com/used.html

"Gemeinhardt #32033 Sterling silver body and head joint and keys, Handcrafted model, In line G, B-foot joint $1,350.00"

They have a superb trial arrangement.

So, you may want to ask about its age, unless you can tell from its serial number, and give it a trial.
