I just joined. ._. Um...so, I'm a below the rank of a beginner when it comes to music, but it'd be nice to learn a bit.
I do fancy the flute quite much, and I was wondering...Let's say you know how to play a flute...I don't know, I've heard it to be the Western flute or something...would you be able to play a different type of flute? Such as let's say...the Chinese Bamboo flute or something?
Sorry if I'm not specific enough...I don't know enough to be any more specific. D;

the embrouchure is often the same as other types of flute but you would probally have to learn differant fingering, but if you play the flute you can usually learn and play the picoclo easier then someone starting the pic without flute experiance
