Forgive me for asking this but I am trying to start up my own private lesson studio right now and wish to see what people would like in their private lesson teacher. My studio is reasonable in price since I am a certified music teacher by the state of florida.

This studio is open to anyone who plays clarinet, alto/tenor saxophone and flute...beginners to intermediate.

My problem right now is promoting and see what people would like in a teacher so that I may make a little more head way to my dream of owning a private studio/music store some day.

i cant really answer that question cause ive nvr had private lessons, but from what i hear from ppl who do have lessons is that their teachers rnt patient and the student gets frustrated and doesnt feel like practicin nemore. so i guess ppl look for pateint teachers and teachers that actually wanna be there and rnt just doin it for a job, but cause they like music an wanna teach it and will be able to put up with their students.
good luck on ur store/studio, maybe ill get lessons there one day
