Hey, I'm looking for a new brand of reeds these days. I've been using v12s but I didn't think they were the best for me. Not so long ago, I came across a box of 56 rue lepics, and fortunately when I ordered some from my local music store, they accidentally ordered the "flow pack" and sold it to me for the price of regular. These seem to work better than the v12's, but I still think there are reeds out there that may suit me better. A friend of mine, who also plays the clarinet, uses reeds called VINTAGE XL(?) I was looking them up on the internet, and it seems they are more expensive than the 56 rue lepics (as I thought 56 rue's themselves were pretty pricy). I was wondering if these reeds are any good. It says its thicker and is made from "different" cane, but then again, descriptions of any brand reeds explain how their reeds are unique from every other ones.
