I've been playing the clarinet for 3 1/2 years and I sound fine I'm just really REALLY load. I can control it but just blowing regular is defening. Anyone else load?

Try using a higher number of reeds. If you're using Vandoren Traditional, maybe 3.5 is something for you. They're slightly more difficult to blow on.
