i have just got a buescher aristocrat plastic clarinet. I am trying to figure out how old it is and how good it is. The serial number doesn't match anything i have looked up so far. It is 7 digits; 110****. and all the listed ones are 6 at them most but the years stop in 80's. I am assuming they stopped making these models then. Does anyone know about it. Thinking it is either a fake or maybe a student model?

It's probably just like the plastic Bundy clarinet. Check this out for more information. You can look here for serial number information.

What I got out of the first link is that it's the same clarinet as the Bundy. That means (to me) a good solid clarinet for any level of player but not the best. If it were wood it would be the same as the Selmer Signet.
