Hi. I'm getting braces soon. I had a friend who played trumpet and was constantly applying wax to his brackets during class. I'm afraid I'll do something stupid and become unable to play or something. However, I had braces just prior to playing. Any tips?

At the same time, however, I'm doubling as a jazz trumpet. My oboe is for concert. Do you think the juggling of embouchures will be more difficult?
