Hi,
I'm selling a student model oboe that I've had for years. I received it as a gift when I was a kid, and the problem is that I have no idea what brand of instrument it is. The serial number is a B followed by 5 numbers... I thought maybe Bundy or Buffet, but neither of those brands use a letter followed by 5 numbers. I've searched all over and haven't come up with anything yet. Can anyone offer any help?
There aren't any dealers or stores nearby to appraise it, and the people who gave it to me don't know.

Thanks for any help you can give!

P.S. Brand names have basically nothing to do with serial numbers. Check the bell and see if there is some text there that was worn away.

Look on the oboe bell for the number
