Thanx

My friend has and it`s worked well for her. But hers is a plastic and there really isn`t that much difference in a plastic instrument as compared to a wooden one. But the tryout process if a good idea (where they send you Oboes and you try them out.) GOOD LUCK ON BUYING!

CHRIS

P.S. By the way, What kind of oboe do you want?

woodwind brasswind is a good way to go if you want to finance. Their rates are much lower then that of Giardinelli and other such places.

I bought a Buffet 4051 from them a couple of years ago. Great prices and great service if you`re a begining/intermediate student. If you`re going for a higher end oboe, it`s best to talk with an oboe specialist like forrestsmusic, hannah brewer, or David Weber.
