Hmmm... have you practiced for along time in any recent days. If you played for longer than usual the days before without a break than that might be the reason. My suggestion: take a day or 2 off

The airy sound could be because you`re not getting a good, crisp buzz. Try taking a day off. If that doesn`t work, take two. If that doesn`t work, try shifting the position of your mpc against your lips up or down very slightyly until you find a better sound.

i sometimes have an airy sound.
taking it easy sounds good.
my problem usually is my embouchure, i used to play with it too far right, so make sure you try to play it straight on.
