On my schmidt strad trumpet the bottom valve caps are stuck on and i can't get them off. Anyone have any tips on how to get them off, because I wanna douche my valves out. LOL

I repair trumpets. I use a soft headed non-marking small hammer, hard rubber or nylon head. Lightly tap the bottom caps all the way around to break them free. I also have a normal wrench but the teeth are rubberized to prevent scratching. Don't squeeze to hard. Tap then wrench and repeat as needed. Be gentle!!!!!!!

Schmidt strad? Bach(of the Selmer Company) makes strads, but I've never heard of a Schmidt strad
