Hey all trumpet players, im just wonderin, what is your favorite piece that you`ve ever played? My favorite ever is "chesapeake overture" its simple, but i like it cuz i had a solo//. Lol

either Miles davis`s "So What" solo or Clifford brown`s solo on "Sandu" www.jazztrumpetsolos.com is where I found those and you can download the sheet music for free with adobe reader.

I would have to say that "Dark Adventure" is quite a good song. I played it in an honor band not too long ago. Another good one is "English Suite." This was my solo this past year. It`s very challenging, but still a great piece.
