Listen to some good music first, to get the sound you want in your head.

Then when you go for the G,A,B, think of the High C. It will come easier.

Research Jerome Callet`s "super-chops" method. I went to a Jerome Callet clinic about 11 years ago and he played notes lower than a trombone (played by the music teacher who was a trombone player) to higher than a piano with virtually no difficulty at all. He`s got a book available called "trumpet secrets" which might help. I`ve never read it though.

Play lot of long tones. Start at bottom C (or even lower if you want) and just keep on blowing until the sound fades out. Then go a note up, and keep on going until you`re on the last note you can play consistantly without it being too high. Practice that one over and over and over.. and do that every day until you can get the high note.

You need stronger lips before you will be able to get those high notes, so you just have to build your strength up. Practice a lot and it will come faster, eh?

use lots of air and push out real fast, keeping the sides of your lips tight.
Basically.......the faster you push the air through your arperture (the hole you make with your lips) the higher the note will be. Then you just need to learn how to control it and sustain it!

Actaully once you hit the high notes it doesent seem to hard when i first started I thought that a B Was high but now im hitting high e# Above high C... What really helps for me Is hearing what i have to play and then picturing the note and being able to hit it.. i never hit things on the first try but if you just keep practicing and using Tonnes of air.. A way to practice is walking around with your mouthpice and just going up and down. the scale this builds up resistance.. ^_^ hope that helps.

I use to not be able to play high noted very well (Anything above a G). Now i can bust out high E`s whenever i want and high high G`s on good days. I did a lot of work in the low regester and it really worked. I recommend that! Some people say certain mouthpieces help but each person has a specific mouthpiece that works for them.

Um, God will forgive the Outlaw if the Outlaw chooses to repent.

You should review Jerome Callet`s website: www.super-chops.com and consider trying an easier way to play trumpet. Go on, take a look. This method has worked wonders for my playing. I now play with much greater endurance, center of pitch and with greater ease in the upper register. Good luck!

if you want to play high notes, practice a lot. play your scales in single, double, and then try for triple octaves. this may seem long, but play them fast. you will learn control this way. play low notes, pedal tones, and double pedal tones. if all else fails buy an extra shallow mouthpiece and a large bore trumpet. i am 18 and can play triple c`s. no lie, i know what im talking about.

I am only in 8th grade and have only played for 2-3 years and i can already hit High E`s G`s and occasionally double C`s

here are some tips:
-relax, the harder u try the harder it will be and the faster you will get tired
-don`t use a small mouthpiece, it will just make it harder, bigger mouthpiece = more air = easier
-pretend it is a low note and use just as much effort as any other note
-if you need to, play softer when a high note is coming up and blast the high note for a burst of air
-have fun, if you`re not having fun, it will seem harder and more depressing
