i play t-sax, and want an instrument to have fun on. I am seriously considering buying a soprano trombone, and need your guys' opinions. Do you or anyone else play a soprano trombone? Does it play well?
Thanks!

soprano trombones are primarily used for fun. They are just a shrunken trombone so it almot sounds like a trumpet and it uses a trumpet mouthpiece. It really depends on your take of it. Jupiter makes soprano trombones, but in my opinion I do not think they're of good quality. The trombones are harder to find and aren't usually sold on ebay. If you want to play trumpet music (out of key) on a trombone you can go ahead, but soprano trombones are not used anywhere besides some choirs or entertainment pieces.
