Ok, I`m not actually a trombone player. But, I play in a 17-piece big band in Swarthmore. The band’s repertoire includes classics from performers like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, and Stan Kenton, more recent hits from groups like Chicago and Weather Report, and some original compositions and arrangements. The band is composed of a few current and former area high school band directors, a number of former college music majors, and your basic amateur musicians. Right now, the individual band members are not getting paid. Any money we make gets reinvested to buy charts and supplies to grow the band. This could change in the future as things progress. Drop me a line if you think you might be interested. Thanks.

This forum: Older: Yamaha Trombones
Newer: Bourée 1 and 2 for “fast” piece (bass trombone)?
