I stumbled onto a Dave Bargeron website and discovered he`s using a device of his own invention called "Bravo" (stands for "Bargeron Rapid Articulation Valve Option" or something like that).

It`s essentially a piston valve that replaces tonguing notes by rapidly cutting off the airstream. I`d be skeptical, except the guy`s an amazing player he and says this opened up his playing immensely.

Does anyone know anything about this? Where (if anywhere)can you buy it? Is it any good? Etc.?
