Oh yeah one more thing...you guys are teaching this kid stuff and feedin him some crap..for example one person said all you need to know is 2nd is low. Well that is bull. Look unless you wanna spend 5 years typin up some long ass tutorial for people, don`t feed them any info. just portal them to a usefull website. (Look kid I`m a real pro...I know wat I`m talkin about so just learn from a real teacher believe me.)

well positions arn`t always the same for everyone. For example some could play A(2) and it could sound flat so they would then have to pull there slide in a bit. So postions arn`t always the same.

I been playing trombone for about 3 years already since seventh grade and im in my freshmen year. trombone is great! Love it. Best songs to play are Jazz Swing and Ska. If you wanna know how to increase your range anfter the high Bb on the Bb concert scale go to the 1st and 3rd posistions about 5 times to extend the scale. Then go back down. Another good excersize is to do lip slurs. When you do lip slurs make sure that the last not for each posistion is the loudest so that you can increase the amount of air that you can blow into high notes. Works like a charm. And dont forget to never stop practicing. Practicing is key!
