Hi does anybody know anything about a Corelli violin? Somebody is selling one in my town for $100 used and I`d like to know if this is a good buy. I`ve never played a sting instrument before, but I currently play the tenor saxophone and I played the piano for 6 1/2 years. The man said it was a "student violin." Please hurry with the replies, there`s already another person I know of looking at buying it.

$100 for a used student violin doesn`t sound very good to me. Corelli will be someone`s brand name, probably for a Chinese violin.
