Hello! I have been playing clarinet for about 3 years and would like to learn the violin.My dad said that would be fine and is apparently "looking" for a teacher. I was just wondering what is the same and if you had any tips or anything? Please reply.

Hello The notes are the same (an A looks/sounds the same as an A on the violin) but that is about it. Here are some of the basics to help you/keep you interested while you are looking for a teacher! http://www.violinonline.com/violinbasics.htm
