hi there

to bow the violin correctly is a hard skill to obtain for many learners of this instrument(even after several years of practising). Can you give the forum the hints you think are useful to bow corectly?
thanks

Face a mirror and watch your bow while you play. Keep correcting yourself and it should become a habit eventually.
Good luck!

if your bowing gets worse when you do this don't worry. my eye hand co ordination is a bit screwed too. I can never get it to work. bow a little bit then look in mirror, correct yourself. bow a bit more, look in mirror, correct yourself. just don't watch all the time. be extra diligent about bowing at the tips because the way you hold your hands at the ends is important to keeping the bow square.
